About Our Ukulele Lessons
Since we have students of all ages and backgrounds, we customize our lessons to suit each student. The main reason to choose Waterdown Music Academy for music lessons is that we treat every student as an individual. No matter what songs or style you want to learn, we'll develop a lesson plan that fits your personality and learning style.

Is there a discount for enrolling two or more kids for lessons?
Yes! When you enrol two or more kids for lessons, you'll receive all lesson books for FREE! Also, the registration fee will apply only to the first student.

What age can kids start at?
We start private lessons on piano (and all other instruments we teach) at age 5. For younger children, check out our awesome KINDERMUSIK program.

Do you teach adults as well?
Yes! We have many adult students learning all instruments that we offer at our school.
Fun fact: a study shows that while 20% of children learn to play music, 70% of adults WISH they had learned… check this off of your bucket list! -
Do we need to own our own ukulele?
It's important to have a ukulele of your own so that you can practice at home between lessons. However, beginner-level ukuleles are inexpensive (around $50) and can often be found used through Kijiji or Facebook Marketplace.

How long are we committed to lessons for? What if we want to stop?
Our academy doesn't make you sign any long-term contract. Our students are here because they love their lessons, not because they're locked in. Our lessons are month-to-month… take lessons for as long as you want!

No problem! Just sign up for one of our FREE group lessons.
About Us
Established in 2001, Waterdown Music Academy is Waterdown's longest-running music school. Winner of multiple Flamborough Review Reader's Choice Awards, our school has grown based on its great reputation and word-of-mouth in the community. Prior to June 2019, Waterdown Music Academy was known as Keynote Music Studio.
